Alex – Communications Coordinator
Alex joined the Schmidl Orthodontics Team in mid-2021. She spent the previous 6 years in the medical field and decided to make the transition into orthodontics! She loves to see the confidence and growth each patient experiences differently. In her spare time you’ll find her reading a great book, hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking or spending time with her family and close-knit group of friends. She looks forward to greeting you every day!
Rachelle – Financial Coordinator
Our Financial Coordinator, Rachelle, demonstrates her compassion, humor, and joyful spirit in every interaction she shares with our patients and her coworkers. Having worked in both veterinary medicine and healthcare over the past 7 years, she puts her heart into everything she does — utilizing her attention to detail and creativity to help in any way she can. Rachelle enjoys singing in the car, swimming, photography, hairstyling, and spending time with her husband. When not hard at work, she finds happiness in the company of her animals–riding her horse, training her dogs, and watching a good movie with her cat and her bird.
Anna – Orthodontic Technician (EFODA)
Anna joined Schmidl Orthodontics in December of 2019 after working in the dental field for 6 years. She started in general dentistry but fell in love with orthodontics and wants to spend the rest of her career in this specialty. Anna recently moved to Medford from Indiana along with her husband and they are excited to call Oregon their home. They like to spend their free time exploring this beautiful state. They go hiking, kayaking, and love taking their dog Shadow on many walks. Anna is excited to be a part of the amazing team here at Schmidl Orthodontics!
Sharon – Orthodontic Technician (EFODA)
Sharon has been working at Schmidl Orthodontics since July 2018. She has been interested in the dental field ever since she had braces herself. Sharon really enjoys working in orthodontics, particularly getting to see how happy her patients are to have a beautiful smile once their treatments are complete. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, swimming, eating, dancing, and singing karaoke.
Sandra – Orthodontic Technician
Sandra was born in Mexico and raised in Oregon. She was granted the opportunity to work in the dental field and fell in love with it. “I love seeing the patient’s smile progress throughout their treatment as well as seeing their confidence build up!” She plans on building up her knowledge of orthodontics and obtaining all her certifications. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, going camping, reading, kayaking, walking both her dogs, Oso and Dante, and traveling to Disneyland.
Maricela – Orthodontic Technician
Maricela is our always-smiling treatment coordinator. Having been born and raised in Southern Oregon, she enjoys being outdoors and is always up for a quick road trip to the Coast. In addition to being our go-getting Treatment Coordinator, she is also continuing her education with goals to one day become an Orthodontic Assistant. She enjoys the time spent with her significant other, two dogs (Kilo and Canella), and her group of friends.
Brittany – Treatment Coordinator
Meet Brittany Gatrel, a dedicated professional embarking on an exciting new journey in the field of orthodontics. Originally from the stunning landscapes of Hawaii, Brittany’s dynamic career spans various industries. She brings a wealth of experience from managing a high-end salon with over 50 employees for 18 years, to contributing to the construction of multi-million-dollar custom homes, and excelling in recruiting. Brittany’s remarkable adaptability and unwavering commitment to continual growth set her apart. Her diverse background highlights her versatility and proactive approach to embracing new challenges. Now, as she transitions into orthodontics, Brittany is eager to apply her skills and passion for excellence to this new and rewarding field.
